Presentation is harder online compared to offline
- Kurt mentioned that offline, there is a giant wall for every presentation — especially in the ideation phase to pin all your work up and compare with each other. The little screen does not help.

Engineers feedback are important because the constraints they set have to be followed for designs to be produced properly.

Automotive industries are very hierarchical
- Both Kurt and Ian mentioned that there are levels of management you have to gain approval from for the product to make it to production. However, junior designers do not get to speak to upper management as often.
Working with Physical models especially clay modelling as it is one of the most important process
- Kurt mentioned most designers froze projects because they could not work on clay models.
- Kurt mentioned Models being important because sketches exaggerate portions to look more dramatic but when you make these sketches into models, it have to be homogenized.
- Kurt and Ian mentioned the importance of 1 to 1 model is because you get as close to reality of the product before production and get to examine it in real world environment. The scale will let you see more issues you haven't noticed previously.
VR is still not good enough to replace Clay Modelling
