Problem Statement:
- Currently, Automotive Designers who needs to share / present their work to allow approval or critiques for iteration can become frustrated because there is a lack of space to show their process, design variations and prototype holistically in remote working conditions.
Project Objectives:
{What are our stakeholders goals for this project? What do they hope it will reveal/achieve?}
- Automotive designers will be able to iterate faster as they can better present their work holistically and comprehensively to their managers and stakeholders. This ultimately enables automakers to be more efficient during concept development time as there will be less need for iterations and back to back communications. Thus, lowering the general cost of development.
Success Metrics:
{How will design leaders measure success for this initiative?}
- Decrease in the rounds of iterations.
- Reduction in presentation / review meeting time.
- Reduction of time to transport to meeting locations for product reviews.
- Reducing cost of prototyping process.
Research Questions:
{What additional research questions do stakeholders have?} Emphasize the prioritized questions.
- How have the automotive designer adapted to working remotely?
- What are the main differences between physical and remote collaboration?
- What tools or technology are best suited for creative collaboration in automotive design field?
- What are their pain points and best moments of working remotely?
